If you are like me, you are probably tired of people who have always been fit trying to tell you how to get fit. See, if you have never eaten marshmallow cream from a jar, drank so many mountain dews you had heart palpitations, or seen fear in the owner of a Chinese buffets eyes, I’m not sure you are truly qualified to help someone who has struggled with weight their entire life.
I’m Alex. At 20 years old I hit my all-time highest weight of 350 lbs. I had always been a chubby kid, but when I went to college and traded playing sports with partying and video games, things really got out of hand. I realized I had a big problem, and if I ever wanted to see my toes again I needed to do something about it.
Thus began my journey to losing 150 lbs and finding a passion for health and fitness that has not only helped me keep it off for 10 years, but led to me helping countless others in their own fitness journeys. Unlike other coaches, I’ve been there. I’ve been and still am a trash panda, but I’ve found a way to make it work. I still love food and love a good party, but I also recognize the importance of taking care of my body. If you are someone who is fit looking to become more fit, there are better coaches out there for you. If you are someone who has identified as a fat kid, and weight has always been a struggle for you. I’m your guy. I’ve been there, I get it. I’ve still got that little fat kid inside of me and I love him to pieces. I just want to help him feel better about himself and to be something he is truly proud of, and I want that for you too.
